Sterilized Sawdust - Package x 16 Kilos
Package x 16 Kilos of sterilized sawdust.
Sawdust is the set of particles or dust that comes off the wood when it is sawn; It also contains tiny particles of wood produced during the process and handling of it, plywood panels and/or chipboard.
How is sawdust sterilized?
To do this, the shavings or sawdust are "cooked" for one hour at 90 ºC. This treatment should be repeated 3 consecutive days, trying to keep the sawdust out of the water in a clean place.
How to use sawdust as fertilizer?
Sawdust as a substrate can be mixed with compost and earthworm humus; the proportions can be 1:1 (1 kg of sawdust for 1 kg of compost). Keep in mind that sawdust cannot be applied directly as a substrate in the soil or planters because the roots dry out after a short time.
